Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager for data center and mission critical projects, commercial improvement up-fits, and new building construction ranging between $50,000 and $10 million. This position will be responsible for the effective management of the assigned projects in all aspects including but not limited to planning, long-term & day-to-day tasks, problems and resolutions. The Project Manager must have a thorough knowledge of scheduling, electrical materials, estimating, engineering, job safety, job cost control, and customer relations is required.  This team member will be required to maintain client relationship and conduct themselves in a confident, knowledgeable manner during meetings with building owners, engineers and general contractors. There will be local travel required between clients, job sites and the corporate office. 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationship and meet/exceed client expectations
  • Manage a team of electricians, helpers and administration staff
  • Analyze job cost reporting throughout the job progress to ensure profitable results
  • Manage the project schedule to meet/exceed the project time requirements
  • Communicate and negotiate with clients to secure contract agreements
  • Price, track and secure change orders to the contract through the progress of the project
  • Provide input and involvement for project bids during the estimating process


 Requirements Candidate Requirements:
  • 4 year degree in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred)
  • 5-7 years of project management experience managing data center and mission critical projects with profitable results
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Outlook
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Exceptional written and oral communications
  • Strong time management skills
  • Flexibility to work a changing schedule based on the customer and project needs
  • Thorough understanding of job profitability and the skills to control above average results on projects
